Undergraduate degree programmes, in collaboration with the OP Jindal University, offering a robust education on in-demand specializations.

(02)MASTER of Design

Postgraduate degree programmes, in collaboration with the OP Jindal University, designed for students and professionals from diverse backgrounds.

Merges the two seemingly specialist fields of fashion and textile design with a focus on their inherent relationship, training students in designing and manufacturing clothing, fabrics etc.
Emphasizes on the creative and technological abilities to prepare designers who work across traditional and modern mediums, applying themselves to create print media as well as interactive digital products, systems and services.
Trains students on the end-to-end product design process, right from understanding the user, ideating solutions, creating prototypes, and delivering finished physical products such as automobile, furniture, and other consumer goods.
Focusses on the imagination and execution of built environment by imparting a creative mindset, technical skillset, and real-world exposure of buildings, exhibitions, installations, and other forms of space.

The Design Village (TDV), in collaboration with the O.P. Jindal Global University, offers UGC-approved B Des and M Des degree programmes at its Forbes' award-winning campus located in the heart of the Industrial District of Noida.

Established in 2014, TDV has 65+ faculty who join hands to bring an unmatched academic knowledge and cutting-edge industry experience to its 350+ students, training them to transform the world through design.

O.P. Jindal Global University is a non-profit, multi-disciplinary and research oriented university founded in 2009, ranked as India’s Number 1 Private University for three years in a row by QS World University Rankings. 02Real-world Exposure

Located in the heart of Noida’s manufacturing industry, TDV’s programmes offer students access to the industry professionals who offer them their real-world knowledge as Professors of Practice, through Masterclasses, offering Project Taskboxes etc. Students leverage this exposure at the end of their programme, when seeking their internships and placements.

03Global Experience

International industry experience is at the heart of TDV education. All students attend a week-long immersion at Make, Abu Dhabi: a community-based space for creative individuals, at no additional cost of attendance, travel or living. Students also have the opportunity to opt for international internship, either at a top-tier foreign university or an acclaimed international office, both at no additional tuition.

The Design Village's approach to admission for its programmes is built upon the institution’s core intent to change the paradigm of design education in the country. We are looking for students who not just demonstrate academic excellence, but also exhibit awareness, compassion, courage and perseverance, the vital qualities for being a successful designer.

TDV has a rigorous two-tier Selection Process that the shortlisted applicants will need to qualify for securing an admission to its programmes. In case of successful completion of Part 1 (Aptitude Test), the applicants will be invited to participate in Part 2 (Interview).

Admission to TDV programmes are held in multiple rounds. However, the conduct of subsequent rounds is subject to the availability of seats. TDV Admissions Office advises all applicants to submit their applications as early as possible, to benefit from scholarships, timely enrol in the bridge programme, and access industry networking opportunities held by TDV, prior to the actual start of the programme in August.

02Scholarships

TDV offers Entry Scholarships to students upto 100% of the first year tuition fee, purely based on their performance in the Entrance Examination, or score in an equivalent National Aptitude Test. For subsequent years, scholarships are granted to top 10% Merit Holders from preceding academic year.

03Education Loan & EMI

We strongly encourage students who need access to loans, and provide the necessary documentation required by nationalized banks and private lenders to sanction an education loan. Additionally, students can choose to opt for EMI Fee Payment through GrayQuest, partnered with TDV.

1) How do I apply to your programme?

2) Is your degree recognized by the Government of India?

TDV offers 4-year undergraduate (Bachelor of Design) and 2-year postgraduate (Master of Design) degree through O.P. Jindal Global University. All our degree programmes are UGC-approved, and acceptable across India and the world for employment or further education.

3) What is the total fee for your programme?

The total fee for our undergraduate programmes is 24.5 Lacs, and for our postgraduate programmes is 13.0 Lacs. Merit-based Scholarships and Need-based Financial Aid are available to applicants based on their performance in the selection process and financial need respectively.

1) Do you have a hostel for outstation students?

TDV has a large number of outstation students enrolling for its programs every year. To support their accommodation, TDV has partnered residential facilities very close to its campus, where students can book their accommodation. Pick-and-drop service is included in the cost of accommodation at these facilities, so that students are able to commute to the campus without any hassles.

2) Do you offer transportation facilities for local students?

Yes, TDV offers local transportation facilities across Delhi NCR. The availability of the transportation facility is subject to the route, and pricing varies based on the pick-up and drop location of the student.
